Athena Technologies, Inc. provides a wide array of aquatic environmental vibracore sampling alternatives including open marine, coastal environments, lakes, swamps, bays, impoundments and wetlands. For the last decade, Athena has become known for custom designing aquatic environmental sampling systems with rigid standards for contamination free sampling. The QA/QC programs at the company closely monitor the decontamination of sampling equipment and the handling/packaging of sediment and water samples. The sampling protocols used by Athena are in accordance with those listed in the technical references listed below. The collection of sediment and water column samples for analysis of potential pollutants and physical parameters is the basis of the aquatic environmental sampling program. These studies are typically conducted for the purpose of acquiring dredge and disposal permits, building permits, measuring baseline contaminant levels, and to acquire knowledge of sediments and water column.
