Athena has just completed its second full year of continuing education seminars for the AAPG and Nautilus USA. The course focuses on modern depositional systems and their use fulliness in inter pretation of ancient deposits in the petroleum industry. Go to AAPG.org or Nautilus.com for more info.

Athena has expanded its operations to include the state of Lousiana. We have completed three large projects in the past 18 months. Two were sediment characterization studies for wetlands restoration and another for a large scale pre-dredge study along the Calcasieu River. The research vessel artemis is an ideal platform for operations in the area with its flexible mobilization capabilities.
